Leg Extension
Start: Adjust the seat back and the footpad of the leg extension machine so that when you sit in it your knees are at the edge of the bench and your ankles are just below the footpad or rollers.
Sit back with your back pressed firmly against the back pad.
Move: Grasp the handles or the seat edges behind your hips to keep your upper body stable as you extend your legs in a smooth movement until fully extended. Contract your quads at the top and slowly lower the weight under control to the starting position.
